Seniors Fitness

Seniors classes are designed for people over 55 years of age, and are conducted in a friendly, fun environment in the well equipped PCYC gymnasium and weights room plus fitness and Dojo areas. PCYC has Seniors Fitness, Weights Training and Zest for Life which is a Tai-Chi style class.

Staying on for a highly social “cuppa and a biscuit” or morning tea is a great way to meet new friends and training buddies. Your Gold Coin donation funds various things the Seniors Group supports, for example, the new pads for our Club’s AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).

Group Fitness

Classes are run at your own pace and include weight bearing and cardio fitness-development sessions, balance and fall prevention.

The aim of the class is to improve well-being, fitness and health for senior members. Age is not a barrier and improvement can be achieved in all age groups. If you need to use a walking aid, don’t let that stop you – just bring it along as the programs are adaptable to your needs!
